The construction of the new fields is ahead of schedule and looking better than imaged or how the blueprint conveys its potential. As you can see from the attached photo the new baseball field is almost done.
This new lower field will be home to a new softball field, too, and the large combined outfields is a legitimate full sized soccer field including lights for evening practice and games and includes a new scoreboard. In the distance you can see the two new gyms and the new football stadium bleachers. This will be a significant sports complex for NE youth athletics.
Also note the second photo showing the area dedicated between the two fields for the Alumni Field House. It takes a large footprint to build a 5000 square foot field house and the location couldn’t be better suited for an all-sport inclusive training facility. Every sport can utilize this heated, secure and turfed barn styled field house with 14 ft. walls and ceilings. Two large barn doors will open up in the warmer months for better access and training.
